- Walk exterior grounds looking for signs of intrusion, vandalism and weather damage
- Look for signs of malfunction sprinkler systems and decaying landscapes
- Remove all newspapers, phone books, flyers, business cards, etc. from property
- Check doors and windows to insure they are locked
- Check for signs of pest and insect infestation
